ArtistsNConversation is a free, open-to-all, monthly webinar featuring diverse artists in discussion with specialist curators, scholars, and educators. ArtistsNConversation is sponsored by the Dedalus Foundation and presented on the third Thursday of every month.
ArtistsNConversation has featured artists Juan Sanchez, Agathe Bouton, Willie Cole, John E. Dowell Jr., Melvin Edwards and Anthony Panzera, Kakayoung Lee, and Maceo Montoya, among other established and emerging talents. The program is hosted and interviews led by a changing roster of leading thinkers and organizers in contemporary diverse art, most recently including artist and educator Patricia Smith; Dr. Tatiana Reinoza, Notre Dame University; Dr. Eddie Chambers, University of Texas-Austin; and independent curator, advisor, and advocate Halima Taha. Audience interaction is encouraged and every installment of ArtistsNConversation concludes with a Q&A between audience members and the featured artist and host.
