Satellite Collections
In order to share our diverse, contemporary art with communities across the country, Brandywine donates, or through a combination of gift/purchase, Visiting Artist prints to establish “satellite Collections” across the country. The purpose of the program is to bring the art of diverse cultures to institutions and communities that wish to enrich or diversify existing collections. Gifts are made to smaller institutions, which have limited budgets for acquisitions. A curator or art historian must visit Brandywine and select the collection that is most appropriate for the needs of their institution.
