Celebrating 50 years of artist residencies, Brandywine Workshop and Archives (BWA) has stood as a beacon for creativity, collaboration, and cross-cultural exchange, fostering a vibrant community of artists and master printers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of printmaking. Since its founding in 1972, BWA has served as a sacred space where innovation meets tradition, offering artists the opportunity to explore, experiment, and expand their practices in an atmosphere of mutual respect and artistic discovery.
Featuring contributions from Xenobia Bailey, Vladimir Cybil Charlier, Jason Chen, Maya Freelon, Adebunmi Ghadebo, Muriel Hasbun, Michelle Marcuse, Floyd Newsum, Syd Carpenter, Andrea Packard, Calo Rosa, Lebogang Mabusela, and Alhassan Issah
