Following its successful presentation at Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Flowing Abstraction: Contemporary African Diaspora Printmaking returns to BWA for the summer.
The exhibition highlights the creative process and flow of artistic ideas and knowledge in works by eight artists of varied African, Caribbean, and African American heritages and nationalities. Exhibiting artists include: El Anatsui, Enise Carr, Adama Delphine Fawundu, Sam Gilliam, Tim McFarlane, Julie Mehretu, Kebedech Tekleab, and Tyler Yvette Wilson.
